Thymosin Alpha-1 is a 28-residue peptide, N-terminally acetylated, originally isolated from thymosin fraction 5 and corresponding to the N-terminus of prothymosin alpha.

It is used in vitro in Toll-like receptor signaling assays, cell-surface marker profiling by flow cytometry and cytokine expression studies in cultured immune cell lines.
